Metro Boston Property Inspections, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and provides home and property inspection services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly. That includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property to be inspected, and anything you write in a message to us. You give us this information when you fill out a form on this site, book an inspection online, call our office, or email us.

We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit, such as your browser type, device, and the pages you view. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including third-party analytics services, to understand how visitors use the site. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to schedule and perform inspections, prepare and deliver your inspection report, contact you about your inspection, answer questions you ask us, send invoices and receipts, and meet our legal and licensing obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Phone calls

Calls to and from our office may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and record-keeping. Outside our regular office hours, calls to our main line may be answered by an automated phone assistant. When a call is being recorded, you are told so at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, you can hang up and email us at info@metrobostonpropertyinspections.com instead.

Text messages (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who ask for them.

There are two ways you can ask for them:

The messages we send are a link to our online scheduling page, a confirmation that someone will call you back, and answers to a question you asked us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message frequency varies and is low, usually one or two messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging service providers process messages on our behalf and may not use your number for any other purpose.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (781) 828-1972. See our SMS Terms for the full program details, including the script our phone assistant uses to ask permission.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only so they can do that work. That includes our online scheduling and inspection management provider, our report delivery software, our payment processor, our email and messaging providers, and our website host.

If you were referred to us by a real estate agent involved in your transaction, we may confirm inspection scheduling details with that agent. We share your inspection report only with you and anyone you tell us to send it to.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

We keep inspection records, reports, and related communications for as long as we need them for business and legal purposes, including our professional liability and licensing obligations. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts. Before coming to Metro Boston Property Inspections, I worked in construction for over 7 years. I enjoy helping others with the process of purchasing their home or commercial property, as real estate is typically the largest investment of someone’s life. Knowing I am adding value to others’ experiences in the real estate purchasing process is very rewarding.

I look forward to working with you when the time is right for your first or next property.

Kristopher Crowell

ASSOCIATE INSPECTOR

My name is Kristopher. My attention-to-detail and fascination with building & materials science are well-suited to this work. I joined Metro Boston Property Inspections in October 2022.

I’ve spent the last 12 years as a project manager on hundreds of residential and commercial projects. Understanding the need for quality installation, maintenance, and repair, I provide unique insights into ensuring the systems we depend on function and last as we intend them to.

Buying a home is a pivotal moment for most people, and my role with MBPI is to help you navigate those crucial days.

Mark Weinzierl

I joined the team at Metro Boston Property Inspections in 2021. It has been a great experience working with and learning from the many professionals here at MBPI.

For many, buying a home is the biggest financial decision they have ever made. As a licensed home inspector, I get to help people during this exciting and stressful process by teaching them about the homes they are hoping to buy.

I look forward to meeting you when the time comes to for you to purchase your first, or next home!

Robert Madzar

  • In addition to my home inspector license, I have a construction supervisor’s license and a real estate agent’s license.
  • I am mold certified
  • I was looking to join an established inspection company with a proven track record of excellent Customer service, and high expectations of their employee’s professionalism. I found both at Metro Boston Property Inspections.
  • I look forward to helping show clients our high standards.

We provide real estate inspections for both residential and commercial clients ranging in size from small garden-style apartments up to 100,000 SF commercial properties. We provide our clients a computer-generated narrative report within 24 hours of the inspection for residential clients, and depending on the size, style and condition of the property, commercial reports may take up to 5 days.

Missy Boyle

Operations Manager

Hello, my name is Missy and I am the Operations Manager. I have been with MBPI since June of 2017. I came to MBPI with an extensive real estate background. I worked as a licensed real estate assistant for over 12 years at one of the largest real estate companies in the world.

I love helping clients and agents alike by educating them on our services and doing whatever I can to accommodate their busy schedules! I consider it a personal challenge to exceed everyone’s requests. I love talking with people and can relate to them and what they are going through because of my real estate background. I also love when it’s time to follow up with our clients and agents after the inspection…it is so wonderful to hear all the kind things they have to say about our inspectors and how thorough and wonderful they are!

Customer Service is a HUGE priority for all of us at Metro Boston Property Inspections, and we can’t wait to help you when you’re ready for us!
